Home Affairs Budget Vote Debate in Parliament

Radio Khwezi was invited to attend the Department of Home Affairs Budget Vote Debate

that was held in the Old Assembly Chambers in the National Parliament in Cape Town on 17 May 2017. The newly appointed Minister of Home Affairs, Prof. Hlengiwe Mkhize, together with her deputy, Mrs Fatima Chohan, and the department’s Director General Mr Mkuseli Apleni were there to report on how this department is working to make things run well within this country. Opposition parties also took part in this debate as they they presented their viewpoints about the department and what they expect from the newly appointed minister and her deputy together with the director general.
