Khwezi Helps Kickstart New Farming Project in KZN

Radio Khwezi hosted the introductory meeting of Milk Goats Farming.

The purpose of this meeting was to choose a committee and preparing the way forward for a Milk Goats Farming farming club which is made up of 22 members from various places across the province of KwaZulu-Natal. The event was only announced and organised through the airwaves. Local farmers started to show an interest after listening to a show on which Mr Bhacela from Freestate Province was interviewed on air about his experiance with goat farming. Mr Bhekelakhe Sibisi together with the station set the meeting date to see all the interested people. They targeted only 20 people but received more than 30 people wanting to attend the meeting. The selected commit was voted by the farmers and it is made of 9 members. The commit list is as follow:
