Super 16 Soccer Tournament

A lot was at stake when 16 local teams clashed in this year's Easter Super 16 Greytown Soccer Tournament.

This tournament was launched on 17 April at Greytown Library and the draw for the games was also done at the library in the presence of representatives from all the teams..

The aim of the games was to provide a fun, edifying and safe environment for Greytown youth during the Easter weekend and to promote the development of a healthy lifestyle.  Another incentive was  to improve the development of certain life skills such as respect, honesty and sportsmanship, to mention a few

The winners of the tournament were to walk away with a sum of R20 000, a rotating trophy and medals.
