Union Development Agency-NEPAD’s Event

On 09 - 10 April Radio Khwezi attended the African Union Development Agency-NEPAD’s event on Championing Agenda 2063 for #TheAfricaWeWant in Sandton, Johannesburg.

The event also marked the one year anniversary of the Agenda2063 Media Network. During the event the African Union Development Agency (NEPAD) announced the winners of the #TheAfricaWeWant youth essay contest: David Nyabenda, Charles Mwanje, Fanto Foday, Bakani Mark Ncube and Grace Nakomolowa.

Two of the winners could not make it to the event.

Five youth champions were also recognised for their entrepreneurial activities, resilience and resourcefulness. They are: Angele Messa, Silas Adekunle, Mogau Seshoene, Ndeu Stefan Naukushu and Edzai Conilias Zvobwo. Dr Mayike, the AUDA-NEPAD CEO, gave his annual media briefing.
