Khwezi Helps Kickstart A New Farming Project in KZN

Radio Khwezi hosted the introductory meeting of a new milk goats farming project.

The purpose of this meeting was to choose a committee and prepare the way for a milk goats farming club which is made up of 22 members from various places across the province of KwaZulu-Natal. The event was announced and organised through the airwaves. Local farmers started to show an interest in milk goats farming after listening to a show on which Mr Bhacela from the Freestate Province was interviewed on air about his experience with milk goat farming. Mr Bhekelakhe Sibisi and Radio Khwezi set a date for all interested people to meet. The aim was to get at about 20 people, but more than 30 people wanted to attend. The farmers selected a committee of 9 members, including:

Chair Person: Robert Mkhwanazi
Deputy: Florance Ngcobo
Secretary: Phumzile Ngobese
Deputy: Thandazile Mdluli
Treasury: Siyabonga Mkhize
