Celebrating Women's Month

On 26 August Khwezi hosted a successful event in the King Dinuzulu hall at Eshowe.

The theme of the day was ‘Sigubha 22 Nembokodo’, celebrating 22 years of broadcasting of Radio Khwezi, together with the women. This was the second time an event like this one was held in the women’s month; it is so well loved that it seems to turn out to be an annual event.

The hall was packed to capacity with people from as far away as Ladysmith. More than five gospel groups performed in front of a lively audience. Guest speaker was Mrs FM Madlala from Dundee.
