Celebrating 100 Years With Ntunjambili Primary School

In the year 1917 the superintendent of the American Lutheran Mission in South Africa,

the Norwegian Bishop Johannes Astrup, founded the Ntunjambil Primary School. A bit more than 100 years later, on 19 May 2017, Radio Khwezi was invited to join in the century celebration. The school has since then produced many top leaders in spheres of government, for instance the Minister of Finance, Mr Nhlanhla Nene. The celebration was honoured by Lutheran Church dignitaries from the uMvoti Circuit, Bishop PP Buthelezi and Bishop N.Mnyaka as well as by the Head of Department of Education in KZN, Dr.Vusimuzi Nzama, the local iNkosi, N.Bhengu and the descendants of Bishop Johannes Astrup.
