The Springboks received a hero’s welcome in Durban

The Springboks received a hero’s welcome in Durban on Friday 8 November following their World Cup triumph over England on 2 November.
It was their third Rugby World Cup title having won it back in 1995 as the hosts and 2007 in France under coach Jackie White and Eddie Jones, who is currently at the helm of England rugby national team. Present on the day were:  The Premier of KwaZulu Natal Mr. Sihle Zikalala, EThekwini mayor Mr. Mxolisi Kaunda and other councillors, and of course the Springboks players who participated in the World Cup: 
Captain Siya Kolisi, Tendai Beast Mtawarira, Duane Vermeulen, Faf de Klerk, Lukhanyo Am, Makazole Mapimpi and Trevor Nyakane to mention the few with coach Rassie Erasmus amongst the team.
The team started the trophy tour at uMhlanga, went to KwaMashu station, City Hall and then to the Moses Mabhida stadium where a media briefing was held.
