Radio Khwezi’s Listeners’ Club Meets Once Again

One of the qualities that makes Radio Khwezi a unique radio station is it’s loyal listeners’ club, “Masibumbane” – “let’s join hands”. The popular club is continually growing and currently has over 5000 members. On 18 November it was time again for the annual Christmas celebration of the listeners’ club of Radio Khwezi, and close to 800 members gathered for a few hours in a local school hall near the radio station. For many it is not only a Christmas celebration where members of various branches give gifts to each other, but a time of reunion with other club members and a chance to see their radio presenters again. On the programme were also competitions, choir- and stage drama performances as well as a warm meal, which was enjoyed together.
