Agenda 2030 Follow Up Meeting

Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations organised a very successful meeting that took place in Durban from 20-22 August 2019.

The purpose of this gathering was to evaluate successes of the Agenda 2030 historic commitment to get rid of hunger in the continent, following months of ongoing reflection and interaction between AUDA-NEPAD, FAO, African Media, development partners and communication stakeholders.  The event attracted many representatives from various countries within the continent.

Zero Hunger is part of the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals as we are eleven years away from 2030 members of the media were invited to be part of this initiative and report as much as they can to ensure that people at the grass root level understand the Agenda 2030 and Agenda 2063 concept.
