Khwezi Listeners meet to Celebrate Women's Day

Radio Khwezi hosted a very successful Women’s Day event in Greytown Civic hall on 31 August 2019.

The aim of this event was to celebrate and acknowledge the role that women play in their homes and the community.
Khwezi partnered with some local businesses in Greytown to make this event a great success. There were competitions which resulted in many women taking home hampers and other giveaways.
Khwezi also had an opportunity to sell its branded items such as cups, can coolers, gala shopper bags and aprons. An inspiring speech motivated and gave hope to widows and there was great music by local artists. Pastors and evangelists from various churches also came in their numbers. Mrs F.M Madlala held an uplifting devotion which applied to the men, women and children attending the event.
It was a wonderful time where the Khwezi listeners could be together and celebrate women’s day sharing a common vision and goal for the community.
